Crazy
“Crazy” was the first song recorded by N.B.J. it has a Yamaha Acoustic guitar in it, and was recorded in E minor. It has an album cover of a firework taken in Pennsylvania. Crazy has a very simple drum kit with just kick, snare, high hat, and clap. The chord set follows Em, CM7, Am7, DM7. Crazy is also currently the most popular song by N.B.J.

Away
Away was the first song N.B.J. put on Spotify, and currently the second most popular song by N.B.J. Away has a very distinctive drum sound, and it has piano as the main instrument. It was recorded in B minor, and has a pop/rock feel to it. The album cover was taken in Hermosa Beach Los Angeles. The song was inspired by Aerosmith’s “Magic Touch”, having a similar bridge and guitar sound.

The Feathers Of The Bird
“The Feathers of the bird” was N.B.J.’s first studio album, having songs from all different genres. This album has rock such as “WE WERE TOLD” and “The Omen”, and it also has chill relaxed music such as “Magma”. What makes this album good is the variety and versatility. Away is the first track on this album and is the most popular off the album. “Its Magic” has a rock vibe to it, but also features organ in it. This album also has different instruments to compliment each song.

The Beach
“The Beach” is a bright upbeat song with an album cover painted by N.B.J. The song has piano, bass, drums, and pad. It is a very simple track but it is near perfect. It was recorded in A minor, but switches to D minor in some parts of the song. The chorus switches between F major and C major, giving the song a cool feel.

Later On
“Later On” is a blend between rock and every other style, it has 2 guitars in it, and has a Yamaha Acoustic guitar in it too. “Later On” is its own style and was later put on the album “This Is N.B.J.” It was recorded in A major, but the chorus switches to C major, giving the song a unique feel with powerful guitar. The album cover was taken on a campsite in Colorado.

Twilight
Twilight is an EP with 3 songs, non of which are called twilight. “Blue Moon”, the first track on the album, has a Yamaha piano in it, not a keyboard. The piano is the only instrument in the song. The other two songs are more of a rock/pop feel with keys and guitars. “Blue Moon” is the most popular song off the EP.

Beyond The Echo
“Beyond The Echo” is a rock album with lots of piano and keyboard. It has no heavy rock sound, but it has some great songs on it. The first song “Always Me” is a blend between calm rock and pop. “The Endless Thought” is Arguably the best song off the album, with an awesome piano riff, and some great bass. Although one song has a couple more streams than everything else, which is “The Final Chance”. This Album also has more unique songs like “Space”, with lots off deep end instruments. Most songs had no more than 8 or 10 tracks, they were just simple, great songs.

Blue Water
Blue Water came shortly after “Beyond The Echo”, but it has the same calm rock feel with complex drums and keys. The first song “Blue Water”, is the second most popular off the album with a great piano at the beginning, and lots of drums. It even has a guitar solo, Which no other song on the album has. Most songs on the album were recorded in A minor. The most popular song off the album doesn’t have that calm rock feel, it actually has more of a pop feel with acoustic guitar. “Golden Eyes” is the most popular song off this album by far, probably because of the well produced, acoustic Yamaha guitar, and the simple chord set: Am, FM, CM, GM. the song was recorded in A minor then pitched up 10 semitones above that. The other songs on the album have lots of guitar and bass, such as “Let It Fall”, and “Unbalanced”.

Extinct
N.B.J. wanted to play around with lots off bass, piano, clean guitar, and drums sounds. That’s this song. Extinct has bass at the beginning with sound effects, and lots of clean guitar throughout the whole song. It follows the simple yet impressive chord set: Dm, CM, Am, GM, then hits the big FM chord to top the chorus off. This song is a blend of rock and big bass, with a new feel and would later be remixed into a few different versions. The “Extinct (Remake)” would later be on the album “The Last Beginning”.

Zero Control
“Zero Control” is a heavier rock song with an album cover taken at Yellowstone national park, Colorado. The song mainly has guitar and piano in it with bass drum and a rap drum kit. It was recorded in drop D tuning on a PRS Se Custom 24 guitar. This song was the first song to have a live electric guitar in it. The song fades out in the end to piano, similar to “Epic” by “Faith No More”. “Zero Control” would later be put on the album, “The Last Beginning”. This song was the start of N.B.J.’s experimentation with lots of guitar and distortion.

A Legend
“A Legend” is a song with a clean tone PRS Se Custom 24 guitar, and a Yamaha acoustic guitar in it. The album cover was taken at Yellowstone national park, Colorado. This song has a set of unique chords in it, with a capo, giving the guitars a higher sound. The main highlight of the song is the drums, which are complex and detailed. “A Legend” would later be put on the album “The Last Beginning”. This song isn’t quite rock, but it has a great acoustic sound in it, which would be the counterweight of all the other songs off of “The Last Beginning”.

The Last Beginning
“The Last Beginning” is a rock album with lots of guitar and keys. Most songs off the album play around with a harder rock sound than the rock songs off of “Blue Water” or “Beyond The Echo”. Most songs on this album were recorded in E minor, such as “The Last Beginning”, “Someday You Will”, “Within”, and most of all, one of the most popular songs off the album, “Like This”. Some songs have less of a rock sound, like “Someday You Will”, and others have a ton of guitar and distortion, such as “The Burn”. This album was a practice for a heavier rock sound that would show up again on the future album, “Instrumental Rock”. This was where N.B.J. first experimented with distorted guitars and lots of drums. To end the album, “The Burn” would be a very heavy fast guitar riff to mark the end of the album as a closing track, also being the shortest song off the album as an outro.

Hidden Paradise
“Hidden Paradise” is by far, the most well produced, finished, and polished track N.B.J. has ever made. The album cover was taken in the Bahamas, off of a boat. It started as a simple riff on a small keyboard inspired by “Cooler Than Me” by Mike Posner, and became a full, finished riff that would evolve into a near perfect song. The first opening part of the song is just plain piano, pad, drums, and bass, and then goes into the first verse, which is the same riff just faster. The whole riff was recorded in D major and follows this chord set: DM, AM, DM7, GM, GM7, F#m, Bm. This is then followed by the pre-chorus, Em7, Fm7 GM, AM. Then it goes into a distorted heavier chorus, which is in the key of Dm7. After repeating this a few times, the song goes into a bridge, than one last chorus, and finally fades out into piano. The song was great, it gained more streams faster than any other song N.B.J. put out. It would later be put onto the rock album, “A Kind Of Life”.

Sometimes
”Sometimes” is a track that is upbeat and N.B.J. knew it would be a good single. Although it wasn’t as popular as “Hidden Paradise”, sometimes was recorded with guitar and piano as the main instruments and switched chords a lot. The album cover is of tall, old, candles. “Sometimes” would later be put on the album “A Kind Of Life”.

All Or Nothing
”All Or Nothing” is a rock track that was recorded on a PRS Se Custom 24, in drop C tuning. The track was originally named “Face Them”, but that was abandoned and it became “All Or Nothing”. This song has a very distinct sound, with lots of guitars riffs and layered guitar tracks. The chorus has a true rock sound. This song would later be put onto the album “A Kind Of Life”.

A Kind Of Life
“A kind of life” is the most perfected album yet, and has mostly a rock vibe, with some exceptions, such as “Downtown”. The album has the same PRS guitar in it, and has both clean tones and distorted tones. “All Or Nothing” is a popular one, recorded in drop C tuning, a really low heavy sound. “Passion” is also popular, which was recorded with a clean phaser tone giving the album a variety, just like everything else. The most popular off the album is “Hidden Paradise”. Similar to “The Feathers Of The Bird”, “A Kind Of Life” has many different styles, but rock is the main one.

Only One Way Out
“Only One Way Out” is another track that gained popularity fast and has a heavier rock sound. The track was recorded in drop D tuning on a PRS guitar. This track would later be put on the album, “Instrumental Rock”. This chorus of this track is the best part, it sounds dramatic and heavy. In the chorus, there is only bass, guitar, synth, and drums. The verse has many more clean guitars in it with a few added sounds, and the bridge has the low E string on the guitar tuned to B, to get a deeper, heavier sounds before the scratch comes in and it goes to a new riff. This track is similar to “All Or Nothing”, in the sense that is has a similar rock sound.

Extinct (All Remakes)
N.B.J. knew “Extinct” couldn’t end where it was, so he made three other remakes, one of them which would go onto “The Last Beginning”, which was “Extinct (Remake)” which had guitar and piano, “Piano Remake” which had just piano, and “Guitar Remake” which has clean and distorted guitar. All these would be put onto this EP.

Style
“Style” is a rock song that has a PRS guitar in it (and was layered 8 times), and was recorded in A minor, but switches to C minor in some parts. It has a heavier rock sound, and it will later go on the “Instrumental Rock” album.

Underneath
This is a Linkin Park inspired song, with distorted keys for the verse, along with bass, and heavier guitar for the chorus, the song was recorded in drop D, with a pretty simple set of power chords. The chorus includes bending the strings in a certain way, that gives the song a “heavy” effect. The second verse has a guitar solo and has a slightly different set of chords than the first verse. The song has a sad/angry tone to it overall, and will later go on the “Instrumental Rock” album, with other singles that have been released.
